Returns/Lost/Damaged Merchandise Policy:

Absolutely No Returns Without Prior Approval. No returns issued for consumables such as grinder heads or for glass, clearance items or special orders. Please telephone us on 023 9275 0512 to arrange for the return of goods.

Placing the order for delivery means that you agree to the terms and conditions of this service:

Approved returns made due to defective merchandise or incorrect shipments of merchandise made by our company will be honoured.

Payment, Delivery and Price

 All non-defective merchandise should be returned in new condition in the original, unopened packaging. The customer will assume all shipping costs associated with the returned item(s). The customer will be receive a credit/refund (excluding restocking fee) only after the merchandise is returned to us in satisfactory condition. It is the customer’s responsibility to package the goods in a satisfactory manner for return. Faulty Goods must be returned complete and in their original packaging where supplied.

 That any goods delivered by courier service and not taken delivery of after two attempts may be returned to us by the courier and that you will be liable for the charges for return of goods and any future re-delivery costs. Goods will remain at our premises for 6 weeks for you to collect them.

 Please ensure that the goods are checked immediately on receipt or that the consignment delivery note is marked as unchecked. If shipment box shows obvious damage, open package before signing for the delivery and note the condition to the carrier. Goods damaged in transit or custom glass cut to the wrong sizes or subject to manufacturing defect must be returned to us for inspection and if we agree that the goods are faulty or damaged by the courier then we will undertake to replace them at our own expense, including delivery.

 The customer must notify us within 48 hours of the fault or damage, and be issued with a returns number. No returns will be accepted without a returns number.

 It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the glass ordered is suitable and fit for the intended purpose.

Custom Glass Orders

 Glass cut to size is a custom glass product that cannot be returned to stock and in these circumstances is not eligible for a refund unless supplied to the wrong size and type by us or have a proven manufacturing defect (seed, reams, uneven surfaces, edges and surface bend are part of the character of many hand-made and machine made glass and do not constitute defects). Glass sizes required are to be supplied or confirmed to us by fax or email or letter. We cannot accept responsibility for mistakes arising from verbal orders.

 Please note: All orders for products or services will be acknowledged but confirmation of the price shall at all times be when the order is accepted by the Vendor and such orders shall be shipped at the prices shown on the order acceptance which shall normally be the price or cost as shown on our Web Site on the date of the order. Up to date prices can be found on our Web Site which is continuously updated.

 Orders are shipped with any delivery costs shown where appropriate.

 For internet orders payment is to be made via credit or debit card or other method shown as acceptable on the Vendors Web Site and no other methods of payment are acceptable unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Vendor and no goods shall be dispatched until payment has been made to and accepted by the Vendor. Credit card companies may require address verification (your credit card billing address) or other security information on web site transactions. Any incorrect information given may result in a delayed or cancelled order for which the vendor accepts no responsibility

 The Vendor shall dispatch goods to the purchaser within 14 days of receipt of payment or shall notify the purchaser if goods are unavailable or if there is any delay which may result in goods being delivered outside this period. In the event of a delay being more than 28 days the Vendor shall offer the purchaser the right to cancel the order and shall make immediate refund to the purchaser of monies paid if the order is cancelled by the purchaser resulting from the delay.

 In the event that any goods are unavailable the Vendor shall make a refund to the purchaser of monies paid or notify the purchaser if only part of an order can be fulfilled and offer the purchaser the opportunity to accept part of the order. If the purchaser accepts part of the order the Vendor shall make refund to the purchaser of monies paid relating to the unavailable goods only. If the purchaser declines to accept part of the order a full refund of monies paid shall be made by the Vendor.

 Our policy requires 100% prepayment in advance for any orders made from the Vendors web site or telephone ordering. Such payments are not refundable once the merchandise is ordered except as shown in these terms.

 In the case of manufacturers who operate direct product support and returns procedures, the purchaser accepts an obligation to process their claim directly through the manufacturer.

Consequential Loss

 The extent of the vendor liability to the purchaser for any default or breach whatsoever and howsoever arising shall in no case exceed the invoice value of the goods and the vendor shall in no circumstances whatsoever be liable to the purchaser in respect of any loss or damage whether suffered by the purchaser or by any customer of the purchaser and whether direct or indirect consequential or howsoever arising except where the parties to the transaction could have contemplated such a loss at the time of the contract

Law

 If any part of these terms and conditions shall be found to be unlawful it shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remainder of the conditions provided the contract is capable of continuing without such terms and conditions

 These terms shall be deemed to have been made in England and shall in all respects be governed by English Law except where the statutory rights of consumers within the European Union are otherwise protected within the law of the state or country of delivery

 In respect of consumer statutory rights within the European Union these are unaffected by these terms and conditions.

Privacy Policy
Sunrise Stained Glass Ltd will only use customer information for internal purposes only. We do not sell or distribute any customer information to outside individuals or companies for any reason other than for shipping purposes and information is securely destroyed after completion of the transaction.
